My Element TV is less then a year old and the power button doesn't work 90% of the time. Yes I'm not kidding.

When you push the power button on the remote control it doesn't work so you go push the power button on the tv and it still don't work so I have to unplug it for 5 minutes and plug it back in an then I got to keep on pushing the power button and then it finally comes on. I can customer support and there useless. They don't back up there product or there name.

After calling them many times they tell me that I should of brought the extended warranty "are you kidding me". I will NEVER buy another Element TV and my opinion no one else should know matter how cheap they sell for on Black Friday.

Reason of review: Damaged or defective.

Monetary Loss: $424.

Preferred solution: Deliver product or service ordered.

Element Electronics Pros: Picture quality.

Element Electronics Cons: Poor customer service and refusal to issue refund on bad product.

This appears to be a common defect ... which could have a simple fix,, once root cause is pin-pointed.

I have a 32 inch Element, which will not turn on with remote or panel switch.

All PS voltages appear normal. When tracing the on/off switch signal to the signal card input, have verified that the signal arrives ... ~3.3 volts (logic hilgh) drops to ~.01 volts (logic low), when on/off switch is depressed. ...

beyond this point, who knows?

If anyone can find the schematic, perhaps i could take this further?
